Russell is the president of RPG Wealth Management, Inc., (rpgwealthmanagement.com) an independent firm offering a full variety of investment and advisory services for individuals, retirement accounts and 401k plans, small businesses, guardians and trustees via Cabot Lodge Securities, clearing through RBC Correspondent Services. Russell has over 34 years experience in the securities industry at firms such as Smith Barney, Shearson Lehman Brothers and B Riley Wealth Management in his capacity as a financial advisor and branch manager while holding Series 4,7, 8, 24, 53, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as life insurance and annuities in New York state. In 1985,
Russell earned his B.S from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Russell has served on the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce’s Street Fair and Holiday Lighting committees prior to becoming a board member in 2020. Kenya is the Branch Manager of Jovia Financial Credit Union, a different kind of credit union that combines a time-tested commitment to service and value with the convenience that today’s technologies allow. She has 28 years of banking experience and has been employed at Jovia for 20 years.
As a not-for-profit, member owned credit union, you can bet your bottom dollar that we have lower rates on loans and higher earnings on deposits. We offer advice by hosting free seminars and events to educate and enlighten. Jovia provides scholarships to eligible members in high school and college. Jovia also offers our teachers grants to power their classrooms. She has served the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce’s Street Fair and many networking events since 2019.

Pastor Rebecca has served Faith Lutheran Church and School here in Syosset since 2019. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she has served Lutheran congregations in rural, urban, and suburban settings as well as working in the Bishop’s office in the Nebraska Synod prior to her move to Syosset. She has a BA in English and Secondary Education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, where she met her husband Rich, a New Jersey native. Pastor Rebecca is active on the board of the Long Island Council of Churches as well as in the Syosset-Woodbury Interfaith Clergy Council. She and Rich have two children who have attended Faith Nursery School and now attend Village Elementary, Erin and Grace.

Alan is the founder and President of Water Solutions of Long Island, a LI-based company providing Bottle-less Water Coolers for businesses, and Portable Active Air Disinfection Units for all venues. He also serves as Director of Business Development for CWA Merchant Services, a Syosset- based Credit Card Processing provider, with over $100 Billion in Annual Charge Volume.
Alan earned a BBA in Management from Hofstra University and has held sales & management positions in a Fortune 100 company, as well as strategic sales & management positions in several technology and transaction-based companies. He is a “Trusted Advisor” for his clients.
Alan served as a Board Member of the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce for the past 6 years. He currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee, growing membership from 37 in 2017 to the current 205. He served as the 25th Anniversary GALA Co-Chair this year and as Treasurer from August, 2022 thru May 2023. He chaired the Networking Committee which he formed in April 2017, and just recently passed the torch to another board member. Alan chaired the tremendously successful 2019, 2021 & 2022 Street Fair committees and will be turning over that responsibility to another board member for 2023. He was overwhelmingly voted the Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year for both 2018 and 2020.
Alan also held a position on the Board of Directors of the Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce from June 2016 thru the present, serving as Executive Vice President this past year being tasked with oversight of operations. He continues to Chair their Networking Committee which he was appointed to in October 2016. He was voted the Plainview Old Bethpage Business Person of the Year for 2022 as well.

As a native Long Islander, current resident, and Hofstra Graduate, Ben has worked in various aspects of retail banking, mortgages, financial services, and real estate. He began his career at The Long Island Savings Bank where he continued after graduation when the bank was brought public by Astoria Federal. He later worked as a team leader in a local call center and later moved on as a Client Financial Analyst with Citibank as they acquired European American Bank. Ben then decided to add to his knowledge base by joining Preferred Empire Mortgage, a local mortgage broker. While observing the mortgage industry grow beyond expectations, he decided to again diversify his experience by leaving the mortgage company in June 2006 and pursued a career as a financial advisor with Investors Capital, a nationwide independent broker/dealer. He helped people with resolve debt issues after the economic downturn in 2008 and he obtained his real estate license in order to help people navigate through those turbulent times. Observing the real estate market locally over the past 14 years has really given insight to market dynamics. The combined 20 years of experience allow him to view a client’s complete financial scenario from many perspectives. On a personal note, I received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University and I am a registered tax return preparer with the Internal Revenue Service.

After many years in the corporate sector, the inspiration for opening a BrightStar Care agency came from her own family experience. This difficult and arduous process affirmed her commitment in bringing about a change in the homecare arena.
